Zoe Hannam
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Practitioner
and Resilience-Based Peer Support
Hello, my name is Zoe I am a Mindfulness Practitioner trained with Bangor Universities centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice. For over 5 years I have been delivering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) sessions, in line with the UK’s good practice guidelines, to the general public including individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
I have a special interest in supporting those caring for loved ones suffering from mental ill-health and since 2021 have been part of the lived experience workforce at South West London and St. George’s NHS Trust. I am employed by the trust as a Senior Peer Support Worker and Supervisor working on their Peer Project supported by Health Education England and the Trust’s cultural change programme. I incorporate MBSR techniques into this work and run well-being support groups for Mental Health Carers, as well as one-to-ones and workshops with a focus on recovery.
I have professional indemnity insurance cover as well as enhanced DBS clearance and bring my unique blend of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Resilience-Based Peer Support training to Surrey Therapy Practice, where I offer MBSR workshops as well as bespoke one-to-one sessions.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is a Meditation Therapy that helps to :
