You may be looking for a safe space to explore your difficulties and together we can make sense of them. I understand that we all come from unique backgrounds and I take a holistic approach to provide solutions and healthier ways of coping. My focus is to help you connect to yourself, the people around you and the things that are meaningful. The mind-body connection is weaved throughout my work.
I have over ten years experience working in the NHS and private practice and am skilled in working across a range of psychological difficulties. Core areas I work with are low self-esteem, perfectionism, burn-out, coaching, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and adjustment to physical health.
My natural warmth and compassion will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore and understand your difficulties. Drawing upon several evidence-based models (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), I will introduce new ways of coping whilst providing a nurturing and confidential approach. I offer both online therapy and mindful walking therapy immersed in nature.
I have gained additional training and qualifications in the following areas:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
- Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT),
- Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
