Dr Trina Pisavadia

Clinical Psychologist

Hello, my name is Dr Trina Pisavadia, and I am a Clinical Psychologist. I have over 10 years of experience working in the NHS, supporting adults and young people with mental health difficulties. My aim is to provide a calm and confidential space which allows my clients to share their difficulties. I aim to help people identify and change unhelpful patterns so that they can feel more confident, reach their goals and be more like the person they want to be at home, in their relationships and/or at work.


I have trained in a range of therapeutic models:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Interpersonal Therapy

  • Compassionate Focused Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Systemic Therapy

 

I help my clients create space to tell their story, to understand their life, their difficulties and to help explore ways to move forward. I use an individualised integrative therapy approach, drawing on a range of models. I specialise in helping people to develop psychological
resilience.

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsychD), University of Surrey.

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis & Bipolar Disorder (currently undertaking)

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, University of Surrey

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Practice, Middlesex University

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology, University of Westminster

  • Registered Clinical Psychologist (Health and Care Professions Council)

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover and Enhanced DBS Clearance
