CBT Therapist, Surrey

Hello, I am a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. I also trained as a Behavioural Couples Therapist (BCT) under renowned couples therapist Prof Donald Baucom from the University of North Carolina, USA and can work with couples on issues like communication, problem-solving, joint decision-making, and sexual intimacy.

In addition to private practice, I am also employed by the NHS in a psychological therapies service in South West London. I have worked with a diverse groups of clients and have become skilled in creatively designing bespoke interventions whilst keeping to the evidence-based protocols. One of my skills is to look at how best I can help sustain recovery following treatment, looking at clinical issues as well as the wider well-being of clients. I would describe myself as someone who can quickly put people at ease and passionate about seeing how therapy can enable people to live a life of quality and purpose. Apart from English, I am also fluent in Tamil, Hindi & Urdu and am able to deliver therapies in those languages.
