Lori Casero
Integrative Psychotherapist
I am a qualified, integrative psychotherapist (BACP) with experience supporting adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. My work has included roles within the NHS and mental health charities, supporting clients through issues such as anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Prior to training as a
therapist, I worked in the finance and non-profit sectors and spent time as a stay-at-home mother, experiences that have enriched my empathy and understanding of clients’ varied life experiences.

As an integrative therapist, I am trained across various approaches including psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and CBT allowing me to look at each client holistically and tailor therapy to their unique needs. My work is trauma-informed and somatically integrated, recognising the deep
connection between mind and body, and the ways in which trauma and emotional experiences are often held physically. I also draw on mindfulness to help clients develop awareness, grounding, and a deeper connection to themselves in the present moment.
My practice is grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship—the relationship between you and me—is the most powerful agent of change. My style is warm, empathic and gently challenging and my aim is to both help you utilise and develop the resources to manage whatever has led you to seek therapy, while also working together to understand
any underlying issues that may be getting in the way of leading a richer, more fulfilling life.

I work with a wide range of emotional and life challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, addiction, bereavement, career and life transitions, sexuality and identity, ADHD, and neurodiversity.

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on each client’s goals and circumstances. Sessions are available in person and online, providing flexibility and accessibility to suit your needs.

Regardless of what brings you to therapy – therapy can provide an opportunity to move beyond patterns and beliefs that get in the way of real change in order to bring about something new and something better.
