Ruth Francis
Play Therapist & EMDR Practitioner
Ruth is an accredited Play Therapist and EMDR practitioner. Since 2019, she has worked with children, adults, and families to help them navigate emotional challenges, heal from trauma, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. For children, she uses play therapy as a developmentally appropriate and effective way to help them express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills. She specialises in Child-Centered Play Therapy, creating a safe, supportive space where children can be themselves and feel understood.

In addition to her work with children, she also provides EMDR therapy for adults. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a research-backed approach that helps individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and other distressing life experiences. Whether working with a child who has experienced a difficult event or an adult looking to break free from old patterns, she tailors therapy to each client’s needs and goals.
