Avi Halberthal
Integrative Counsellor
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I adapt my approach to suit each person I see.
At heart, I'm person-centred, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a non-judgemental space. Depending on what feels right for you, this might include relational and psychodynamic thinking, existential ideas, creative approaches, or tools drawn from CBT. I believe meaningful change happens through a genuine relationship, where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. We move forward collaboratively, at your pace, to support deeper understanding and lasting change.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP, working with adults of all ages in both short-term and longer-term counselling, available in person and online.

I support clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, trauma, domestic abuse, relationship issues, feeling stuck, burnout, and neurodivergent or LGBTQIA+ experiences.

Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly at a regular time, available both in person and online.
