Lina Zambrano
Neurodiversity Learning Specialist
I have over 20 years of experience working with children, young people, and their families in the education sector. I have worked as a teacher, teaching assistant, and inclusion support specialist, and have led alternative provision initiatives abroad. My work has spanned mainstream, international, and private schools, delivering tailored support to students with moderate to significant needs.

I have used focused interventions such as Levelled Literacy Intervention, Maths Bridges, Barton, Colourful Semantics, and Social Thinking and Smarts (for executive functioning) to help children and young people with learning differences build essential, foundational skills. I have worked alongside educators, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and SENCOs to implement SEND plans, modified curricula, and EHCPs that honour each child's needs and learning targets.

Over time, I have developed a real passion for working collaboratively with other professionals to coordinate and deliver pre- and post-diagnostic educational support — through learning strategies and advocacy skills — for families and their children and young people.

I currently divide my time between private practice and the Further Education sector, supporting EHCP holders, liaising with specialists and local authorities, and leading EHCP annual reviews to monitor student progress.

I specialise in supporting individuals with:
· Dyslexia
· Autism
· ADHD and executive functioning difficulties
· Additional learning needs
· Their families

How I can support you?
· Helping families of neurodivergent children and young people navigate the education system
· Building advocacy skills for children, young people, and their families
· Developing specific skills in neurodivergent children and young people that school systems often overlook due to limited resources
· Making sense of EHCPs, learning outcomes, and Annual Reviews with Local Authorities
· Building a learning plan tailored to your child's needs, with adjustments you can put into practice at home
Every child learns differently, and for neurodivergent children and adults, the right support can be transformative. I know this journey can feel overwhelming for families, but I believe that structured, evidence-based methods can make a real difference.
My goal is simple: to help your child feel capable and understood.
